Welcome to our first Friday Fives! Each Friday, we will share five of our current obsessions. What better way to kick this off than summer sips – five gorgeous absolutely delish cocktails.
The Fourth of July is just around the corner along with a major heatwave! Of course we will be drinking lots of water (sparkling or not), but of course we will also be enjoying drinks that aren’t water:) You may need to get some extra pitchers, its going to be hard to choose which drink to make.
Let’s start shaking and blending!
1 – Mango Micheladas
This has become one of our go-to after-work-its-hot-and-I-want-a-cold-drink drinks! So easy and refreshing. The mango juice makes this really smooth without being too sweet
2 – Strawberry Shortcake Mimosas
When you’re wanting something a little more decadent, these mimosas are it! They had me at Nilla wafers and whipped cream:) Add strawberry ice cream, vodka and Prosecco – you have to try these. And, fresh strawberry rimmed glasses!
Thank you for this great recipe, Delish.
3 – Blueberry Strawberry Mojitos
After the Strawberry Shortcake Mimosas, its time to go back to light and fresh! These Blueberry Strawberry Mojitos are wonderful by the pool or hanging out by the grill. Plus, they are red, white and blue – perfect for your July 4th get togethers.
Thanks to Well Plated for this recipe!
4 – Pink Watermelon Lemonade Slushies
What’s summer without watermelon? And lemonade? You can add vodka or any other of your faves to bring these slushies to adult beverage level. Either way, they are fabulous!
Half Baked Harvest, thank you!
When it gets hot, I cannot resist coladas, pineapple or anything mermaid! These Mermaid Coladas taste as good as they look – yum! Blue Curaçao is added with white rum and coconut milk for that beachy, gorgeous color.
Thank you, Delish!
I hope you enjoyed our very first Friday Fives – check back with us every Friday!
