Spring/Summer 2019 Fashion Weeks are in full swing! With New York and London starting the month off, it is now off to Milan and then Paris!
Fashion weeks – just another reason for me to love September. With the transition from summer to fall, Labor Day, my anniversary and sigh, my birthday, September is a very full month.
I just love seeing the up and coming trends. I feel along with the still very strong casual/athleisure influence that the shows are featuring very relatable pieces.
One of my faves from LFW is from the Victoria Beckham collection – the split hem pant. While split hem pants and jeans aren’t new, the silhouette of Victoria Beckham’s pants are fresh and so perfect for fall. The pants are very long and lean and were featured throughout her show, even with dresses.
Overall, I am loving Victoria’s collection. Very clean, modern lines and again, very wearable. Such a wonderful way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Victoria Beckham’s brand and its debut at LFW – congrats, Victoria!
and, of course – that fam! and look, the checkered Vans in my last Friday Fives (sorry, couldn’t resist)!
I was also crushing on the long camel jacket Victoria wore at the show. Actually, just give me the whole outfit!

Or, if you’re like me and this week’s (or any week’s) budget isn’t going to allow that, Asos has split hem trousers in velvet for only $26. Not as fitted as VB’s, but very cute and velvet would be perfect as we head into fall.

This blazer doesn’t come in camel, but love the structure and price of this jacket – and it’s only $40! The boyfriend blazer with its longer and looser silhouette is trending for fall. So versatile, you can wear them with jeans, dresses, trousers and leggings. Roll up your sleeves for a casual look.
