I hope you are enjoying summer! I’ve been traveling (post to follow) and haven’t said hi for the past week. I just returned from another trip to Cali and it was hot! Such a difference here in little E-town. We are in the fifties at night and lower eighties during the day. It’s really nice, especially since we don’t have air conditioning, but I kind of feel like summer passed us by this year. We’ve gone from rain, lightning and hail every day to this very fall feeling weather. At least we had a double rainbow after one of the storms – now to find two pots of gold! If only winter didn’t follow fall, I am like never ready for snow and cold.

Now, on to making some pasta! I start with with four or five cloves of sliced garlic and saute in a large deep skillet with some olive oil over medium heat.

Shake the raw shrimp in a bowl with a little seasoned flour.

I picked up some of Mad Greens’ “Mad Spice” when Shina and I had stopped for lunch. So good! Not too spicy, although it is infused ghost pepper, it also has chocolate extract, so it has to taste good.

After removing the garlic from the skillet, saute the peeled, cleaned shrimp in the same skillet with the spices and seasoning. The garlic infuses the olive oil for added yum:)

Boil the pasta in the skillet .You will want the pasta not quite al dente as it will have a little additional cook time when all the ingredients are combined.

Add the pasta water back in and mix with the pasta and add back the garlic and shrimp. Top with some grated parmesan and chopped green onions and get your bowls ready!
